    I just can't face the next 60 odd years of going on about it at every single opportunity if they win the tournament.

    I want them out today.

    There were 14 goals scored yesterday - England have scored 2 in the whole tournament so far - so I'm fairly optimistic.

    Sorry Mono, but I would like England to win.

    We are all Brits, so why would I want the Germans to beat a fellow Brit?

    Additionally, our team (Swansea) plays in the EFL - if we had a Swans player in the England team (we’ve had Shelvey (I think) and Tammy play when they were with us in recent years), I’d particularly want them to do well.

    As for the Germans, don’t forget they bombed and devastated Swansea town centre (as it was then) over 3 consecutive nights in WW2, they also bombed the oil refinery in Llandarcy and Skewen where I was brought up.

    Additionally, Frau Merkel wants to ban Brits from Europe ….

    So I’m supporting the Brits tonight <cheers>

    Just my opinion, opposite views are fine with me<cheers>

    Bright start from the Germans, they look sharper than England so far. Not surprising after their tough group games and scare against Hungary. Poor free kick though.
