    Was simulated blood, new tactic. The boot missed his head by a good foot and Michu smeared a bottle of ketchup on his scalp while attention was elsewhere. Either that or a government false flag.

    Needs to be taken a bit more seriously; Lukaku's first question after scoring that winner and getting knocked out was "who scored it?", and he was allowed to continue.

    Definitely. Playing sport or exercising with concussion can potentially kill you.

    tbf I doubt that he knew he had concussion...it was for the physio to work that out. Remember that England player with the bad head injury who scored in the second half of a match and he didn't even remember playing.

    I've suffered at least five of them, a couple through sports and three through bad luck/sheer stupidity: you may think that you're fine, because your judgment is impaired. If that lack of judgment leads you to do something that isn't in your best interest, others need to step in and set you right. Continuing to play is hideously dangerous, and the player is in no condition to make that call.

    Had my head bounce off hard ground many years ago, and got up like nothing happened...no reaction whatsoever other than to ask for my beer back (only one of the night, I believe, so I wasn't at all drunk), and I guess my friends didn't realize that anything untoward had happened until they realized that I wasn't completing sentences. I don't remember anything after hitting my head, but they apparently had to convince me that I was in bad shape.
