That's laughable. He was running at pace so even small contact will send him tumbling. You try keeping your balance when running like that and then getting tripped.
Nonsense. He felt the slightest contact and he went down. But that's what modern players do. It's cheating, but it's become an accepted part of the game. Also, he wasn't going at any great pace, so that argument doesn't really stand up.
especially when you leave your leg behind a bit to get the touch it was an infinitesimally short moment though.

Happy for Bale, and I thought Real deserved it in the end. Ancelotti is a terrific manager, and this CL win, his third, just shows how deluded Spurs fans are for thinking he could be their new manager. Simeone let himself down a bit at the end of the match, but I understand that it was probably quite frustrating seeing his so close to winning it, then losing it in extra time. All in all though, it wasn't a great spectacle.
