Guess I'll answer my own question...

Miles; Smith (Bush, 16; Onomah, 70), Ekong, Hall, Byrne; Carroll, Mason; Falque, Munns, Ceballos; Coulibaly.

Mason, Falque (twice) and Ceballos scored.

    nufc.com report:

Newcastle Res 6 Spurs Res 4

In front of a watching Alan Pardew, United began life in the new Premier U21 Reserve League in eye-catching style, with in-form Adam Campbell leading the way.

A week after impressing during a brief taste of senior friendly action, the 17 year-old forward grabbed a 33 minute hat trick against a stunned Spurs side, who boasted Les Ferdinand amongst their touchline team.

Campbell opened the scoring with a third minute header from a Marcus Maddison cross and within another three minutes Curtis Good had fired home to double the lead.

Souleymane Coulibaly then struck the woodwork as the visitors looked to get back into the match and they did so on 14 minutes when Ryan Mason converted via a post.

It was 3-1 just two minutes later, as Haris Vuckic played into Adam Campbell, who bore down on goal before beating the rather static 'keeper Jonathan Mills.

Campbell then returned the favour for Vuckic to net on 20 minutes and make it 4-1, before the Slovenian's pass saw Campbell race into the area and complete his hat trick nine minutes before the interval for a 5-1 advantage.

With Pardew taking his leave after a half time word with the home players - and doubtless some thinking to do about who gets the nod for Athens -, United restarted with Conor Newton and Brad Inman on for Maddison and Michael Richardson.

Inman then became the second Aussie to get on the scoresheet when he finished off an intricate passing move just after the hour to make it 6-1.

Slackening off somewhat, Newcastle allowed Spurs back into the game and they managed to reduce the arrears down to 6-4 in the next seven minutes, through Yago Falque (2) and Cristian Ceballos.

However the visitors never looked like restoring parity and substitute 'keeper Lawrence Vigoreux made a couple of stops in the closing stages to prevent United from notching up an even more emphatic final scoreline.
