Good luck Dickp. A friend's father had this op last week, and apparently the recovery time is only 3/4 weeks. The technology is fantastic, it's all done by tiny robots controlled by a surgeon, which minimises the tissue damage. Keep posting.

Thanks for the good wishes chaps, it is something I will just have to get through. I only arranged to have the blood test because my Brother in law was diagnosed. It was lucky that I did. I will still post on this and other forums as I think I will be bored rigid.
