Where has all this "Let us be beastly to Wesdam" come from? I have always enjoyed our games against them and have never been troubled by any of their fans. Just because Big Sam is so revolting there is no need to be horrid to their players, fans or club. It is a real shame though that they have lost their "Academy" tag which Man City are now trying to usurp and it isn't nice to see them playing hoof ball either.
Mr Trixter, of our starting 11, 10 are or were acadamy products including JWP and Reeves who have played for the first team and are normally on the bench. We have not paid millions for wonder kids that just sit and rot in the reserves which is basically the U21s for many clubs. We use the U21 as a stepping stone to the first team and to give fitness to first team members, I would be interested in you proving that im talking bollocks by seeing how many of the teams I mentioned actually play homegrown youth rather than poached younsters
