Thought Everton deserved a point on the second half display but hey ho who cares.
Young Greenwood looks a canny prospect.

    Agreed, I think he was.

He`s a cut above the others. I think I`d rather see him out there than Watmore. Keeps his head up. Seems more aware to me.

Was a good game. Better than we've been in recent weeks. We've been pretty lackluster since a lot of them went out on loan.

There`s been plenty. Can`t remember who`s been where now. <doh>

Not impressed with Mandron mind. Didn`t offer much imo & he`s supposed to be one of the better ones.

Liked Greenwoods work though. Thinking he might do better than Watmore. Doesn`t have the flat out pace but seems capable of creating more.

Who is Greenwood? I've never heard of him. Is he a winger?

Winger aye, he'll be about 19-20. Needs some senior football before he breaks the 1st squad. One of many talents. More technically equipped than Watmore but not as fast and direct.

Cheers, we're churning out the young talent at a cracking rate. It's one of the secrets to making an ok club into a good club I think.

They'll not all make it with us but I see the majority become full time proffessionals

There's clearly something special going on with them. It's a bit of a less exciting Leicester story, all those clubs with money to burn and our lads are top of the table.

Trying to find a videos of our third for Pickford's distribution but no joy yet. :(

Was class goal with Pickford, Greenwood and Ola all playing an impressive part.

The biggest problem with the Under 21's league is exactly that - it's an "under 21's" league. You will never get to play against a team with experience of playing together and being a successful group. This is why so many youngsters don;t make the grade. If they were in a reserve league as it used to be, they'd be up against players who are regularly sitting on the bench for their clubs and heavily involved in the first team. This is why, I think, so many youngsters fail to develop into decent players. Stick them up against so better playersa and playing alongside better players and they become better players.

Play them alongside others who are nowhere near the grade, they won't improve much - if at all.

Edit: Except someone like Pickford of course - I can;t understand how Vito is still our number 1!
