I never mentioned anything about where they sit, I just said they shouldn't be paying to watch us play, how can you possibly try and justify our players having to pay to watch our games?

This is tantamount to asking your staff to pay every time they come to work.

Watching the first team play should be part of their training / education. Would be pissed off if they just sit there playing with their game-boy, psp or phone though.

Watch carefully as you will be asked questions on the game later.

They use to have to attend matches and got 2 passes for their relatives to use. My daughter had a boyfriend who let us use his passes as his parents did not live in Hull and didn't attend the games

If someone took a knock in the warm up and none of the U21s had wanted to pay to attend we would not have been able to fill the bench. In the Premier League does that not seem like a ridiculous and embarrassing idea to you?

No cos then it would go out to the crowd and it'd be me, Dennis or Ernie in his special boots.
I bet it would be Ernie, bloody boots.

    I've lost them.

Funny story actually. I put them by the bin 'cos they needed cleaning and that's where we leave unclean footware in our house but my Grandma presumed that I meant to throw them out and handed them to the dustman. Anyway, I found out and chased the dustcart through town on my bike, catching it just as it was tipping into the landfill. I reclaimed one boot, but a surly council employee scowled at me, mumbled 'bleedin' kids' and threw the boot at a stray dog, who ran off with it.

The other boot somewhat incongruously ended up steaming out of port on a cargo ship bound for Rangoon.

No worries though. If the call comes that Mikey P requires my services I'm sure that they'll both turn up.

    They usually do.

You're probably right, although it depends if we needed a trusty penalty taker though?
I'll accept being third choice fan sub...I've never been in a ground sober anyway so it's probably for best

If this public revelation should reach the ears of Ehab, I am afraid the words "Ter Horst" and "Toast" will soon be synonymous.
