Not seen anything from abdullahi thus far looks pacey, but has been slow to react to the ball couple of times the defender has nipped ahead of him and won the ball. Sprayed one nice pass wide not enough to judge yet and is of course incredibly rusty
Reminding me of a hemir performance thus far. strolling around off the ball, on the ball is slowing it down and had a few loose touches I know this is harsh it’s his first game back, I’m just reporting how I see it for those interested, I’m not writing him off
I watched the first 30 minutes and would suggest he's just back from a big injury, he's rusty but has a decent first touch and a decent shot. Doubt he will play the second half and clearly struggling fitness wise. Same description but a more positive way of wording it
Like I said reporting it how I see it I said in my first post he’s evidently rusty and obviously not fit
However your comments about strolling around will stick with some and be used as the stick to beat him unless he runsa around at top speed every game
it’s not used as an insult I’m simply saying he’s not working hard, the reasons for that are obvious, fitness and rust
