Leeds really up against it tonight simply because the first team have 3 games in 7 days, so no first teamers like Joffy or Gnonto etc, not even Kleasson in goal. Some U18s to pad it out and in fairness Bolton are not a bad outfit now
yeh apart from Robles (forgot we'd signed him!), McAlmont is 22 now (not sure why he's still with us really), Drameh 20, McGurk 19. Rest were 18 with a 17 year old left back. Not surprising they were up against it.

I’m at the boro v Leeds u22s this morning. Blowing a hoolie. Willie playing so won’t be in squad tomorrow.
1-1 Joseph tap in after good save from keeper from Perkins . Boro had couple of chances to make it 2-0 just prior
Bizarre booking for Joseph during the game… cross field pass went over his head and was going harmlessly out of play - he just jumped up and tried to catch it. Seen defenders do it to stop a throughball but never an outfield player.
Aren't defenders outfield (only in bold due to edit after I made a typing errror) players , although I do understand what you mean, its just I am easily amused Seem to recall a similar incident on MotD from the 80's when a ball going out for for a throw in, and a player caught it, basically to stop it sailing off into the crowd, and more probably to get the game restarted quicker, as they were probably behind, and they got booked for it. Can't remember any actual details, so I may have made it all up, but its now a vision that is in my mind as being reality
lol I meant outfield, then again maybe it's an American term that I've picked up from Marsch. Basically I have no excuse
