Yes mate. 1st team goal in the Premier League. There's no squirming out of this. A month of Fergie incoming.

Joking aside he’s been the best player on the park in the last 2 games for the 21s. A class apart according to most watchers. Remember we have some very good kids in this squad and he has outshone them, so it’s there it just needs using for the first team. It ain’t his fault he has that price tag

 

Mateo Joseph Fernandez and Darko Gyabi are on a flight to Argentina this morning to play for England U20s. They were at St George’s all weekend but allowed to play last night

 

It does also possibly highlight the gulf between the U21's and the first team or, indeed, the gap between the Premier League and the Championship. The good ones will make it and let's hope there are plenty of them
