Windass esque volley, he’ll be moving up the football ladder in January if his form is anything to go by. For context he’s matched Salam’s total for the season already and he’s started 3 games…
He's a very bright prospect indeed and one I think will go on to play at a very good level. A worry to think he almost left last season for another Championship club. Glad he changed his mind. I wouldn't pull him out of Crusaders, they're doing well (3rd in the league and three points off the top) and he's forced his way into the first team. 2 goals and an assist in 4 games is a great start.
Speaking of Salam, he has 1 goal so far for Alfreton. Playing with former youth player Josh Clackstone there. They've got a front two of Matt Rhead and Tom Denton, that must be an absolute nightmare for defenders to deal with .
It will be interesting to see how Liam and Justin develop him, he really could be, along with Simms the future forward line.
Vaughn Covil and Harry Fisk are also worth keeping an eye on. I have to agree with Tan, I think we're better served loaning these lads out to play men's football than letting them play the reserves.
I agree, unless they are going to be included in the Squad, men's football is where they will get the best experience.
Swansea wasn’t it? My comment on Crusaders wasn’t necessarily a dig on them, I just think given his talent he could do with being in a full time set up and the way he’s going he’ll have the option too
No, Rotherham made him an offer last season. Swansea was Dan James. Yeah I mean despite its lack of full time teams, the NI league is at least competitive and Crusaders are vying for European qualification. In fact they’re only three points off the top.
What happens if he’s being watched by a Champ club who turn his head and he wants to go , yes we might get a modest fee but we miss out on a good prospect?
