The lads have their final match away v Bristol City on Saturday. They are currently lying second to Charlton by 1 goal difference. Charlton play Leicester away who are top of their league. Fulham are 2 points behind both with a game in hand. They are playing Reading who are second to Leicester with a game in hand. Gonna be tight. If Saints win they go into play offs v Reading or Leicester and probably Newcastle and Man City. See http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/youth.html

Is there a playoff between the winners of each youth league for a national title then? Win or not, we certainly deserve credit for playing the right way and producing a great group of players.

Don't think so, but there is a youth cup. In which we were beaten 5-1 by Nottingham Forest (in the fifth round). The first leg of the final between Chelsea and Blackburn is tomorrow, incidentally.

Saw The highlights of that. Their striker Patrick Bamford really shafted our defence and Chelsea splashed over a million on him.

There is a knock out between the top of the four leagues. Dates are on the fixtures page http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/AcademyFixtures/
