Somewhat like the last election the choices aren't exactly worthy of their support and yet a choice must be made. Trump almost certainly chose the latest supreme court judge to replace Ruth Bader Ginsberg to do his bidding in the almost certain legal proceedings that all of us knew he would instigate. In my opinion the man is a total moron who is only interested in his own well being and wealth when he should be the president for all Americans. The divide between the people is clear and obvious and Trump just loves to stoke the fire by stating last night that he had already decided to declare himself the winner despite the clear fact that the result will not truly be known for several days, if not weeks. Trump has been a thorn in the sides of Canadians ever since his election and he showed his contempt for us on his first visit to Canada for a G conference when he arrived purposely late and left early stating that he thought our Prime Minister was an idiot. Considering both countries do approximately 80% of their trade with each other why on earth would anybody want to put that critical financial situation at risk? Since his election he has constantly stuck us with extra import duties on things such as aluminium even though American manufactures told him that the cross border supplies were essential for them to continue their work?

I'm not so sure that Biden will be an easy ride but the thought of four more years with the man who is only interested in his own gratification makes me wonder what his future policy manipulation will do to the U.S. but more importantly how it will affect we Canadians north of the border? The fear of violence is palpable in the minds of Americans today when you consider Trump's relationship with the armed militia just waiting in the wings and the whole situation could turn ugly as quick as you can AK47. Many small towns have weaponry better that some third world countries and the worst problem is that they are more than willing to use their resources for what ever cause they feel like. The race is not yet over and I would suspect that if Trump loses he will not vacate the White House, because it looks like Fort Knox right now, and he will call on his politically appointed members of the Supreme Court to do his bidding and re-elect the king.

What a choice, a narcissist nutbar with a closet load of skeletons or an old bloke almost certainly suffering the early signs of dementia and his closet load of skeletons, I would say that you couldn't make it up but sadly you can, because 4 years ago it was pretty much the same.

A bit like the UK the people deserve far better than that choices given.

Happy lockdown, stay safe.
Surely it’s the NRA that decide who runs

Like Piers Morgan when he was sacked by the daily mirror? (look it up, it's shameful what he did and the arrogant prick refused to apologise, it was fake news at it's worst), so maybe proving the adage it takes one to know one.

As for the highlighted and underlined portion, you cannot help yourself with the generalisations?.

Classic whataboutery. And I hate Morgan too. He's done a lot worse than what he did at the Mirror I can tell you. So no point proven whatsoever.

Nothing to do with whataboutery, it's just akin to somebody saying that Hitler was good to his cat, it's hypocrisy and in this particular case goes to the root of journo's whose ego is far bigger than the respect for their country of birth, so much so that they will happily publish fake **** like he did, without even checking it's validity, because he wanted it to be true, whilst most right thinking people hope that it's not true.

Again I disagree with you (not for the first time)....I think Farage is spot on.....You have to take the context of what Trump said and he never mentioned bleach......but hey it's better headlines!! (I used to quite like Piers, but not since this pandemic, he's been an absolute twat) Firstly you can get disinfectant without bleach and secondly the context was inferring disinfectant of using something strong to combat the virus..
Now if people has decided to give it a go, inject bleach based on what they interpreted he said, we have some very very stupid people in this world..

This, along with the likes, is the biggest confirmation of the inherent bias here. You've literally seen the video with your own eyes and you STILL see what you want to see. It's actually entertaining.

"and then I see the disinfectant. It knocks it out in a minute. Is there a way we can do it like that... by injection..."

Now if that isn't an inference of injecting then I have no idea what is. A direct quote.

But of course Farage is spot on to claim he didn't say it in your eyes <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh> Absolutely loony

I dislike Trump and his ilk, I think Biden is partially senile, very simple but the lesser of the two idiots, so I'm completely on the sidelines here but the argument of bleach and disinfectant, I haven't factually read or heard anywhere that people were advised to inject or drink bleach, I can't argue disinfectant but I can't remember anyone advising us to dose up on dettol.

Excellent post Mike.

USA, supposedly the biggest democracy in the world, now = banana republic with a despotic tyrant in charge. Hopefully not for much longer.

I don't know what Biden will bring to the party but he's got to be better than the incumbent clown.

Disinfectant, is a cleansing, Alcohol could be used as a disinfectant. Anti bacteria gel is a cleansing, (no bleach) sanitising products are for cleansing (no bleach), .....you know and I know that what he was referring to....But bleach strengthens the argument for you, Piers and the anti Trump brigade... <doh><doh><doh> It's a sad world we live in and getting worse by views & comments like that!!

One thing for sure, we will be bottom of the pile when it comes to trading with them, once we come out of the EU.....China will become stronger and I believe America will become poorer for it...For jobs, manufacturing and industry. And worse in the way of unrest, even more than it is now!!.....Biden will bring nothing to the Country........The American people didn't vote Biden in but Trump out....but by not as much as the people thought...

Supposedly the biggest democracy in the world. For years the Democrats have been trying to impeach Trump and have claimed the Russians influenced the 2016 election.

The Democrats are hardly squeaky.

Remind anybody of anywhere? The UK and the undermining of Brexit.

Agreed Clifton but surely the Democrats are the less worse of the two? I won't bite on Brexit though. <whistle>

I agree with your Trump sentiments, I may be wrong but I feel Biden is being cruelly manipulated by the democrats, he is clearly not a well man and looks like he is being used with an endgame of his more left wing vice president taking over the job at some stage and putting her up as their presidential candidate would have been a totally unpalatable for the U S of A.

Sadly as you know that is not a recommendation, the electorate here and in the USA deserve better, it's like being asked which nut do you want squeezed by nut crackers, the right or the left.
