It really is mind-blowing thinking about, is there an end to space, I really find it troubling thinking about it?
There is no end you could reach as the Universe is expanding. This will stop however and the Universe will start to contact. At which point time will reverse. Or it may not.
You Earnie are obviously a well educated man, unlike myself who sat at the back of the class f@@£in about, often found in the corridor stood outside the classroom or headmaster’s office. So, my question is if the universe is expanding, what was in the space it expanded into?
What I want to know is how come you know Zarge, the language of the alien Regit Nation? F@@£in translates as flying. What I think you meant was "in%*!7co^*in&" which translates as ****ing.
The Universe is accelerating away from the singularity of the big bang at the speed of light. The idea that it is expanding into space is a construct of human perception, you really need to replace this with the notion that the Universe is expanding in time and space creating four dimensions as it does (possibly a significant number more but that would complicate things). In that case it is expanding into nothingness. The idea that space exists beyond the expanding Universe, into which the Universe is expanding, is a misconception based on a human construct of a static and definable space/time continum. Obvs. Hope this helps.
I did mean contract. However I am now intrigued by the idea of multiple Universes contacting each other.
said this before and i stand by it what the heck are the so called scientists doing? i expected weekend vacation trips to the moon by now need smarter people
You're right, it isn't. But I'm adapting to my audience. I'm going all Janet and John here. Or Peter and Jane. Then there was the series about dragons. And the one about pirates. Anyone who learnt to read in the 60s knows what I'm talking about. Yes? It'll all come around again. Eternal reccurence. The existence and subsequent non-existence of the Universe has been and will be played out indefinitely. That was one of Nietzsche's ideas by the way. The Universe? And so it goes...
