Fury wanted rounds, didn't want no real danger, wanted to showboat, shake off the ring rustiness. This was never about how good he is. Hope he gets back to his best and knocks Bruno out.
It was the way the other guy just gave up that was bizarre. Didn't even take a decent hit. Just thought **** it I'm off, maybe needed a piss or something.
Not seen it, we ended up being away last night, sounds like it was a complete farce. I’m looking forward to seeing Fury sparked during this ill conceived comeback.
They’ll wheel out some nightclub bouncer for his next fight and then a punch-drunk David Price or similar then eventually someone like Parker after he loses to Whyte or Bellew. It’ll be a long time until he fights one of the serious heavyweights.
That bloke was a cruiser weight in with Fury who had a 5st weight advantage, was 6 inches taller and had a 10 inch reach advantage, a complete mis match, irrespective of actual talent. I can see glass chin Price being his next opponent.
Apparently he’ll fight on a card in Belfast in a few weeks so doubt they’d even risk that. It’ll be another nobody.
Given he’ll be forming part of the undercard if that happens, then yes it’ll be some fat journeyman. They’ll try and con the public that a Fury vs Price matchup is actually a fight, and it’d be a headline.
The undercard of this was actually fairly decent. The main event was a ****ing farce, of course. There was a better heavyweight bout earlier, which wasn't hard. Still two fat blokes, but it was more entertaining:
I know somebody in that video We've been laughing about it all day. Look at the lad in the shirt throwing a barrage of wispy punches at 30 seconds, it's ****ing embarrassing I bet the guy he was hitting thought he was being tickled by a 9 year old girl. There's a better close up video of it out there as well.
Couple of the traveller girls started chucking drinks over some other girls I believe so the travellers started scrapping with anybody who moved.
