WTF?!?!? This thread was about some wessie dick reverting to type at the Olympics Try the 'Hull people- do they commit crime outside the Olympics?' thread if you wish to discuss local crime in general.
You're generalising a whole city due to the actions of one person. Other people are pointing out that that's a bit ****ing stupid and that crime happens everywhere, even in your own town. Don't think it's that hard to understand.
It's a case of people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. It seems hypocritical to be attacking Leeds/West Yorkshire when there are currently crime headlines coming from this region.
Have there been any Hull people arrested at the Olympics? What crimes do you expect to read about in the local paper? Hull crimes perhaps?
To the best of my knowledge, no. The point is, it seems more like a personal attack and generalisation on the area the person in question originates from rather than about the incident itself.
Leeds supporters do have a bad reputation. But as this bloke doesn't live in Leeds and is apparently a Liverpool fan, it hardly seems relevant.
The title is about a Leeds coward yob, yet the thread is about some clown who doesn't seem to be a Leeds coward yob. It's most confusing. To avoid confusion in the future, perhaps you should go with a title along the lines of 'bin dipper fan who lives in Yorkshire and has possibly shopped in Leeds on occasion throws a bottle that nobody noticed'. Then we'd all know what you were talking about.

Really poor bait, City Agro. Despite you rather tenuous picking out a Liverpool fan from North Yorkshire, you could at least have backed it up with the recent Police data showing that Leeds fans were arrested far more than any others for missile throwing offences. At least put some effort in, and preferably find someone who's actually in some way 'Leeds' next time before hanging, drawing and quartering them as 'typical Leeds'.
