    Same old claptrap again.
Ross and PP are and were failures.
Doesnt matter how many players a crap manager brings in. The team will remain crap and play crap.
As I have stated many times the likes of stendel, bowyer and wilder ( to name but a few ) took smaller less talented squads up.
There are plenty of 'meaty boys'out there that would do what you salivate about, but as soon as the likes of ross and PP get them they turn into headless chickens or rabbits in the headlights.
Adding 5 or 6 players in January while hill and PP look after football matters will do nothing other than add to our woeful financial position

You can say players don't matter and it's all about the manager, or Bri does anyway, but do we have any forwards as good as Lyle Taylor? Nowhere near really.

I think Bri has a serious problem regarding overestimating how good our squad is.

My god you don't half talk some ****e man. You seem to have a very deluded, over opinion of our squad. By and large, they're bang average, at best.

    In the main, definitely.

Wouldn't mind a wily, old head at centre back. We can't cope with set pieces well enough.

Right back, a big strong defensive midfielder and a decent center forward to help out Charlie Wyke, who has impressed me of late. And get some of our own like Hume more involved in the first team, ie Embleton, Mumba, and Robson to name just three. Get three top additions to the starting eleven and we would be OK we do have a half decent squad.. Its how they are used that is important, and that has been woefully these last few years, we have never recovered from Dour Dave's mismanagement imo. OaU

We need power and pace, skill optional unless you call hoof ball a skill.

This is League One and one of JR's major mistakes was trying to play a continental passing game. Just power your way through and think about ball skills once you're in the Championship or higher

It isnt a case of what we need it is a case of PP getting what he is given ( from mr jumpers for goalposts hill ) and meanwhile our 2 new sunlun born non exec board members will rubber stamp these largely cosmetic transactions to keep the pressure off our bunker residing owner. PP like the 2 new board members are yes men
These 2 new blokes are little more than a sop to sly stewart. Any fans believing that these 2 will make a jot of difference while donald and hill control things, need help.

So you’d rather go dow the route of downright assuming that they won’t benefit us?

That’s pure speculation, having a voice with heart in the club could make all the difference, if you wanna go down the defeatist road you will always be defeated.

Fast, hard, can shoot, can tackle, can head the ball, can cross a ball, can take a set piece, can pass to a teammate, can read the game and can keep out of McDonald’s.

Ones that are a complete and utter twat to play against, the League One equivalents of a Huth, a Bellamy, and a Keane. Can't go wrong stiffening the old spine there with some good old fashioned twattiness that has a sprinkling of talent.
