Couldn't these pages just be set up by a random anybody wanting to cash in on her grief. I remember seeing a social media account one time of someone who had thousands of people following her, the only trouble was the real bombshell came when the person it was supposed to be explained that's not me lol. If you've been replying to me for months, it;s not me, if I've been messaging you privately it;s not me, in fact none of it is me....they'd just been stealing content...which is no harm to an extent, but add a cash link in, then they've got you and just reel you in. Anything with social media I just question it all the time,as the saying goes "Don't just teach your children to read. Teach them to question what they read. Teach them to question everything"
One of the first things I generally check as verification aside from ticks is the number of followers they've got, which will either be in there thousands or millions, while the actual person has no more than a handful that they follow - but as with my example above, that method is not always reliable.

It's ****ing bonkers. If you are wealthy and want to give her money, do it privately, not through a gofundme page, they are more for us poor folk. I would like to think the feds have checked this page out.
I think she’s being used as a political tool. Which is even more evident as the people who’ve set up the funding pages are doing it for her family AND turning point. Either set up a charitable giving page for her family (which she probably doesn’t need, but fair enough) or set up a funding page for a political group like turning point. But using his death and her grief to try and raise money for a political movement is grifting as KH pointed out.
Yeah, I always thought go fund me was for people who’d fallen on hard times after illness or accident or the like. Fair enough it wasn’t her who’d set it up, but why donate your money to somebody who is a multimillionaire? As i mentioned to Saf, the money is being raised for Turning Point. So be explicit and say it’s for a political movement, and don’t use his death and her grief to try and claim it’s to help their family. That is crass imo
Nice try. KH implied that she started the fundraiser and by doing so she is a grifter. You jumped on and queried why she is attempting to make money. You were both wrong and out of order. Just own it.

People are free to do what they like with their money, I wouldn't donate to her, it;s not that I don't care, it;s that I know she's probably got more money than me, without me even looking at her financial affairs. You can see from the pics she must at least come from a middle class background, so she certainly don't need my dough, what other people do is their business.
Kirk has an estimated wealth of about $12m, so she shouldn’t ever be hard up. He also had some influential financial backers who may continue to support her.
My begging letter is on the way to her. Don't really care about her to be perfectly honest, not being callous like but they live a world miles away from mine. I don't really get people donating to the fund me page, but there's nowt more strange than folk. Maybe they could chuck a few bob my way.
