Spot on TLJW ... Sunday was turgid ... for 70 minutes we were ponderous and predictable, the ball more often going sideways or backwards than forward ... I felt a bit for Vardy and Nugent because they had almost no service - I wonder how many neutrals watching on TV had switched channels by half time? ... I can't readily think of a more boring opening home performance in all the years that I've been watching them ...
I remeber LCFC 0 Bolton 5 as first home game of the season. People werent switching off (if it had been on telly) unless they were Leicester fans. Now that was truly woeful.
Put it this way This point last season we had 3 points. The year before 3 points and we lost the next game in both season aswell We currently have 4 points. Dont create a mountain out of a molehill. We struggle to impose ourselves for 80 mins but on the flipside defensively we was resolute. Something was wasnt at the back end of last season
And that's saying something, taking into account some games during the days under Frank Mclintock and David Pleat for a start!
SKY have been advertsiing their upcoming 'televised' games - actually heard their commentators apologising to viewers for our game last weekend ... says it all really.
Ok Fosse, I can take a hint, I'm definitely going now. Didn't get much joy on the Watford forum, did you!! Anyway all joking apart I really hope LCFC are promoted this season along with the hornets, you guys are ok, great stadium to watch footy. Adios
Have always enjoyed a visit to the Watford forum in all honesty - no different today - you should try it
