Rarely has a trainer ever sent out such a star studded battalion of horses on any one day at the Festival as we are likely to see tomorrow from last year's top trainer Mr Mullins.

Hurricane Fly / Zaidpour
Quevega / Dare to Doubt

Midnight Game / Allure of Illusion / Simeon
Blackstairmountain
Scotsirish / Uncle Junior

It's quite probable Mr Mullins will pick up 2 winners, at least, on the opening day but don't be surprised should that number be higher tomorrow ;)

In fact I wonder what the record number of winners for a trainer on one day at the festival is?

I'd be surprised if you don't collect on that one GDC. He could break records with a bit of luck, I actually think Nicholls may struggle to get more than one or two winners on the boards myself. Henderson, Mullins and King look to have the strongest hands in my book.

Never rule out Nicholls, especially at a big meeting. He may not SEEM to have a strong a hand as he's had in previous years, but he can certainly ready one for a big day.

Oh he definitely can NamNed I'm not questioning his ability but I'm still slightly wary of the yard's form. He had a couple of fancied runners run like drains at Sandown and for me the other 3 yards are in slightly better form, and Mullins certainly appears to have the strongest ammo to go to war with!

I can see him having atleast 2 with Hurricane Fly and Quevega, ant it's probably a toss of a coin wether he has the winner of the Cross Country, I don't think he will win the Supreme though
