Agree with awjm and matey from Redhill above. Fact is no one has even half a clue at this stage about who's going down next May. Of course we don't think it'll be us - given our natural bias as fans on the back of the biggest overhaul this club's ever had. That's a massive achievement in itself BUT new engines don't necessarily always work, let alone win races. It has to be a matter of fingers crossed for now - see how things pan out. Could be the pundits will be right. Who knows, and more's to the point, who cares what they think tbh?
Used to be a member around here a while back thought i'd chip in and undoubtedly cause some trouble. im going to guess it's because despite bringing in lots of 'proven' premier league players you just scrapped through in disarray last year, whilst Norwich and Swansea both finished comfortably above you with their supposedly 'rubbish' players. You'd think that'd make you pause and wonder if your arrogance last year was misplaced. But no, you bought more expensive premier league retirees this year, and immediately started predicting how great you'll be, and how mediocre Norwich and Swansea will be. And it hasn't worked out like that so far. You're the only team out of the 92 that make up the football pyramid who have yet to win a game this year. The only one. Norwich and Swansea both have more points than they did this time last season. Both of them are breaking long held club records. Meanwhile QPR have just matched the joint worst start to the prem ever. And you can get odds of 29 to 1 for QPR to beat man u next week, which suggests you'll beat it. You all mock hughes for his doomed comments about never being in this position again. But its not just him. Its your players, with Cisse grumbling that 'we don't belong here' as if his name alone should grant him a goal a game, and its the fans, thinking that because their players are expensive to keep, and have well known names they are automatically a mid table team. Thats why you get gloating. The same anger you feel at the misplaced confidence of Hughes, is what people see in many of you. Now kindly tell me to f**k off and i'll be on my way.
Given our league record to date and the dire performance of yesterday, can any of you be surprised that many bookies and commentators are tipping us as favourites for relegation? Rather, given that record, it would take a very brave, or possibly stupid, man to predict otherwise. It's going to take the turnaround of all turnarounds for us to survive this season. Do the players realise that fact? Do many of them even care?
of course qpr will be relegated....they are the worst team in the premiership and the table does not lie.....The bookies have qpr odds on to go down and will stop taking bets on it soon.....
Had enough of this annoying ****ing prick stating the obvious. Hughes is **** and we're going down, we know, so **** off ****y!
