Some these 'so called' pundits know s##t about football! The other day some muppet said that they thought Reading would do well and could finish 13/14th and then said that QPR would struggle and go down? Yet we go out and get seasoned Prem players and we will go down according to this muppet? What a deluded know nothing muppet. As if Reading could finish higher than us with a Championship team full of ex QPR players that couldn't cutit in the Prem. Sorry but we will be just fine and teams to go down will be Reading/Norwich with either Swans/west Brom/saints/wigan
Exactly....its pure guesswork and biased opinion.....how many "pundits" said Wolves, Blackburn and Bolton last season would go down....not 1 of them!
Phil Thompson can't see past his nose that's his problem. By the way was that picture taken when he played for Liverpool, looks quite young in it?
Robbie Savage, love him or loathe him, has stated Villa are for the drop. At least he knows his football. Assuming he is correct, I really cannot see QPR occupying one of the other places. I, too, am getting fed up with so called experts throwing out random names in the hope they are right!
I think its great the more 'experts' who tip us to go down the better, I hope every pundit says were **** and are certs to go down, psychologically its brill MH will love the ammunition and teams playing us if they buy into the bullshit will subconsciously think we are going to be an easier game. Its all good.
We (Swansea) were odds on favourites for the drop last season by all these 'experts'. Look how that turned out. It's just three peoples opinions - no more valid than any football fan.
Graeme Souness? Didn't he sign Ali Dia???? As for the FT guy, I should stick to stock and shares if I were you chum!
Villa are a great example of pundits not doing their homework. I read a BBC article that stated Lambert could get them top half but would be expecting more. Does it really take a genius to see that, outside of Darren Bent, Villa have very little quality in their team? Maybe they are not relegation favourites, but they certainly are not a top half team unless they make some serious improvements. That said, it is not impossible for QPR to go down; to think that way is inviting trouble. I think you'll do fine and will be in a nice safe 12-14th bracket come May, but you haven't turned into Newcastle over night. Adding a lot of new players, no matter how talented they are, does not guarantee they can play together immediately. If anything based on his record at Blackburn/City/Fulham, it'll lead to him becoming over cautious again and you becoming draw specialists. Anyway my point is to let the "pundits" do their thing and as we all have to do, ignore the WUMs!
