Great to see fans from so many clubs paying their respects here. Sunderland have got their own thread on it. Fantastic to see, top marks to you all.

A truly shocking event. RIP to all victims.

No innocent person either travelling on business or pleasure deserves what happened to these poor people. To show such dedication to your club and suffer this is appalling. Condolences to all John and Liam's family and friends.

Nice to see such a brilliant reaction from fans of Sunderland football club. Shame it takes something like this for rival fans to unite.

    This is a shocking story.

From a humanitarian point of view our condolences go to the families who have lost their loved ones, but unless you have lost a loved one you will never understand their loss. There are no words to explain it.

This is where football steps in. The prick who fired that rocket won't give a toss as to whether it was 300 0r 3000 people he killed. But the fact that he killed two football fans might. He knows that he has attacked the biggest followers in the world - the football family. He is probably a member himself.

Lets hope that tonight, instead of feeling jubilant that he has knocked a plane out of the sky at 31000 feet and killed 300 people that he doesn't give a toss about, The fact that he has attacked the football family has at least pricked his egocentric political conscience.

Let's hope that from this disgraceful attack, the idiots may start to understand the consequences of their skewed sense of "achievement".

    RIP. John and Liam

From what I read these two make me feel very humble in calling myself a football supporter

Deepest sympathy to the families of these two loyal football fans, all who knew them, and anyone connected to any of the victims of this awful tragedy.

Words fail me that such an event could even occur.
