This appears to be a better prospect than Boyce. We will soon know when he kicks a ball. I think Boetang is a non starter for us now. I think Palace are very short sighted with this and I do believe the player would have liked to have come back and finished the job. He is going to play second string football for the rest of the season instead of full blown league matches in proper competition. I fail to see where this enhances his development.
Derek Adams hinted at the possibility of a defender coming in on loan before the weekend.....he would not elaborate anymore than that.
Blimey Plym, you're up late these days..... I read that also. I don't think we will sign anyone else after the defender (if he comes) despite we might need a striker. Not that we'd get much of one at this stage. I keep looking at Rooney (no not the balding one) and thinking I'd like to see him given one game at least to see what he might do. They have to start somewhere and Nelson was a boy when he started. He was actually an Able Seaman when Lyndhurst first joined the Andrew.
Yea....Nelson does quite well with only one arm and one eye.......he wouldn't be with us if he was all there. ps.....less of the "you're up late these days" please,......generally mid-night before I wake up and go to bed.
If true, box to box is what we need. My feeling recently is that we seem short of bodies in the attacking and defensive thirds at key times.
I don't understand this one......28 day loan......Jamille Matt...26yr old 6ft 1in Fleetwood striker....played 56 games...scored 14 goals.....been on loan at Stevenage...played 8 games scored one goal. There was talk about a possible defender....not another striker.....where does that leave Daniel Nardiello in the pecking order ?
Third I think... but was it not always that? I'm not disparaging the guy but wasn't he always a greybeard to keep the dressing room steady and come on as a sub against tired defenders for the last 20 minutes?
I'm not sure I get this one either plym but what do I know. I reckon the Tyler thing probably means he will be somewhere else next season. Despite people continually saying he is the clubs best natural scorer if played up top none of the Managers seem to rate him or play him. I've never seen him as an out and out striker so can't really comment. Suppose they can't all be wrong. Will reserve judgement as always on this Matt bloke. I would have though a loanee for the rest of the season is what was wanted so it is the 28 day thing I don't get. Nardiello seems a waste of wages to me. Just don't get where he fits in.
Something just struck me as a bit odd and that doesn't make sense. This new bloke has been signed under the "Emergency Loan" tag. Yet on the same day Argyle announce they have sent one of their players out on loan to another club who could just as easily played in the position they have just filled. It begs the question what emergency? It isn't a wonder this window is about to be closed full time is it. Sort of makes a mockery out of the word emergency.
New loanee Jordan Houghton starting today.......Jamille Matt on subs bench......McHugh not in squad today.
The only reason I say panic is because not too long ago he was saying we might get one or two in. He has brought in two. Now we have lost a relatively crucial game he is saying we might bring in another one. Not a sniff of this previously and if we hadn't lost I don't think it would be even considered.
