Seen a few people post about removing Adkins from history by not mentioning him in the match programme. It was disrespectful but hardy removing him from history, bit of an over reaction on that one I feel.

Agree Beef. MLT had an opportunity to put this to bed but hasn't taken it. Cortese could have picked any news body to interview him but cleverly picked Sky. MLT's employers.

Wrote a long piece about Cortese, but you were spared because the website went wrong. Basically, I support Cortese but a mistake was made in not putting a nice piece in the programme about Adkins' contribution.

I hope MLT can focus his energy somewhere else soon.

 

I have never seen a manager that has been sacked have a small piece in a programme let alone a large piece. I think some fans need to understand he was thanked on the OS (small piece) and that should be it. We as fans some times ask for to much, when a person gets sacked why should they have pages dedicated to them?. Yes Adkins was amazing and i'm grateful for what he has done but at the end of the day his boss didn't think he was good enough so moved him on. The exact same thing happens every day in life.

 

I hope Le Tiss and Cortese meet in private and sort it out, none of this witness crap. They should sort it out in private and then get on with life.
