Done and done <ok>

My only concern is the header looks a little busy (not a major issue mind) but other than that it's starting to come together... it certainly looks more appealing than a lot of other twitter accounts... Namely TWTD

I think the header's fine. It's a fans forum after all, and it's consistent with what you see when you click through to the forum which is important.

Yeah, that be true <ok>

If you have any ideas or designs then keep posting them on here and I'll glance at them later and probably add to the profile tomorrow if needed when I've got more time..

Happy to take suggestions and ideas from anyone

Don't worry Guru we all know and we're a pretty forgiving bunch....

... oh hang on you're talking about Twitter aren't you?!

Nice work everyone <ok>

Personally I think a bit of automation is fine and it makes sense to do it every time a thread is posted. A person could easily follow the account and never visit the site otherwise. Considering the amount of new threads we have each day, it won't exactly be spamming them all day. It also might be a good idea to have a delay of a few hours in case any anti-ipswich pricks abuse the system and spam our board.

Obviously it would need a bit of a human touch; tweeting news, replying to tweets, retweeting others.

I think we should have a few tweets before we start following people and getting retweets, people are more likely to follow an active account.

Here's a list of people associated with ITFC who we can follow/retweet/ask for retweets from:

@tyronemings1
@CormacBurke7
@codycropper
@elliotthewitt
@ByronLawrence
@CarlosEdwards7
@Iam_ScottLoach
@IpswichFCNews
@mattholland8
@MichaelChopra10
@GreenUn24
@Jwhight
@Official_ITFC
@tommysmith1990
@Jackains
@OfficialJET9
@Aaron_Cresswell
@IpswichTownFans
@twtduk
@Stuart_Watson

Agree with the automation Wrighty, and thanks for the list. <ok>
Jack Ainsley and Joe Whight are no longer with us though.

Not really sure if it matters that they aren't our players any more, they still probably have a few ITFC followers plus sometimes it's interesting to see what ex players are up to. Probably more likely to get retweets from them too!

Taken from the mod board by supermod brb.............

Just a suggestion...

A large number of boards now have their own not606 twitter accounts. Also I have seen many members own personal accounts tweeting, promoting links etc to not606.

Therefore my suggestion is that if you do happen to mention not606 in tweets can you encourage members to use the not606 hashtag at the end of their character line.

Example: #not606

What this hashtag does is link all not606 discussions under the hashtag regardless of the account people are tweeting from. I've never mentioned it before because the twitter group was too small but appears to have grown quite a bit in size recently, so it would be good if we were able to view all not606 tweets at a glance...https://twitter.com/search?q=#not606&src=hash

Thanks
