In his time at villa (4 years) MON bought 24 players and sold 10, but lots went out on free transfers, that says they let their contracts run down and were told they were not needed anymore. He bought Downing Young Milner who have all been sold since he left for a profit (and were young when he bought them) he bought Dunne (who most Sunderland fans were crying out for us to get at the time) and Collins who are still thier CB pairing. I didnt really want MON just for the fact he turned us down, but all of this he needs money, and especially doesnt play young ones, is a bit silly (every manager spends cash, even Pullis has spent 90 million, Moyes 140 million SAF god knows but his first team against WBA at the start of the year was worth 250 million and that had 5 home grown players in it.) /end of rant
