In fairness, the journalist is reported to be Paul Cockerton, the man behind 3o'clock at Kempton, so at least it's a genuine City fan writing it for a change Except he got the Mark Herman one wrong - there's a City reference in all his films!
I always thought there was a rugby union team called Hullensians (aren't we called Kingstonians anyway - again another union team?) Another little known fact, the Tigers are the only team to have been coached/managed by country managers of all 4 UK countries.
I really don't think it's that complex. Nor do I believe it's a genuine attempt to appear scary like real tigers. It's just a piss about. Number 14 is also my favourite.
