Davies wasn't goal side of Carroll when McGregor fumbled. He was equal in blame. It's the first thing you're taught as a defender in those situations. He never gave himself a chance to clear the danger.
If a player isn't performing then he won't get a good a contract as he deserves. CD was the stand out player last season & if he's not repeating it this season then he's not going to get what he deserves & if he thinks that under performing is going to get him a move to a better club then he's sadly mistaken. Not that I believe he is, but he'd end up at a club in a relegation scrap. Realistically he needs to start showing leadership on the pitch & getting stuck in like we all know he can do. FA Cup Final he was chasing everything down & this season seems to be not able to chase his own shadow. Same goes for TH too!
He ****ed up for that goal and Bruce named him and McGregor who was also at fault. Hardly stabbing him in the back ffs. With the contract thing I don't know who to think is in the wrong. Yes he's made his desire for a new contract too public but we are funny with contracts sometimes. Chester and Dawson (Andy) particularly have had promises made which weren't fulfilled in relation to new contracts in recent years. The likes of Hernandez are probably getting a fair bit more money than him so he's got a point. It's better than him wanting to leave.
Davies is just proving Bruce right, Big Time Charlie, one of the reasons we are going down is because he's thrown the towel in this season
Agents should all be rounded up and shot. ****s to a man. That tweet is appalling. I hope Brucey goes round and nuts the bastard.
Whiny, self pitying wimp's tweet, clearly said very much on behalf of Curtis Davies, for Curtis Davies' benefit. I'd love to see Curtis Davies play well a bit more often.
Davies was limping when he came off. Agents are scumbags, even lower than journalists and PR people. If Davies does want to move, I hope he's happy on 10k a week playing for a lower champ side or even league 1 because he sure as **** won't be moving to anything better based on his performances this season. A captain is meant to lead, he's not done that either this season. Please..,stop with the lost the dressing room bollocks too.
He stabbed himself in the back with an attitude like that and inconsistant performances. It's football its televised across the world there's no way you can escape a mistake its plain for everyone to see. Least bruce is honest about it and says it as it is a mistake. At the end of the day he's paid to do a job if he makes a mistake he should expect a telling off, I doubt Alex Bruce would of moaned about it.
Or his agent is looking to find him a new club before the window closes & before he has time to demonstrate how poor he is over the next few weeks
Is it bollocks, if he wants a move he should man up and ask for one instead of hiding behind the tweeted words of his parasitic agent, oh but hang on, if he came out and asked for a transfer he wouldn't get all that was owed to him would he!
Another one from this tosser, it's clear Davies has spat his dummy out a long time ago. Phil Sproson@gsml_info Good performance at #FACupdraw from @TheCurtisDavies. Can't win criticised for doing to much outside of football then dragged up to present! *Favorited by Davies*
That was when the Big Time Charlie comments had been made, which he obviously took to heart. He was representing the club a few days later at the draw at the Deep. He's obviously in a major sulk with Bruce, and it's a shame it's being done publicly as it shows little class, but it is a transfer window. Seems to me that he wants out, which is not what you want from the club captain of a team currently embroiled in the dead-centre of a relegation scrap. What a prick.
The more I'm seeing of this stuff the more I'm thinking that it would be better for all concerned if both him and his agent ****ed the **** off!
Who criticised him for doing (sic) "to much outside of football"? The interesting question for me is, if he wants a move - which increasingly seems to be the case - then where exactly does he expect to go? Which Premier Club does he think will sign him on current form?
I follow Davies on twitter and he does seem to be down in London quite often. That's not a criticism because maybe he does work for good causes. Think he tweeted last week on Thursday afternoon from the Shard or some other landmark which I thought at the time seemed strange as I thought they'd be training and preparing for the West Ham game. He's probably fed up of the travelling and is hankering for a move to London based team.
