I enjoyed Dept Q. On top of being a decent watch it was rammed with actors who had been in Still Game.
I’d challenge that mind, unless he’s paid billions in subsidies over the years. ( admittedly much originally by EU). If you said since Brexit perhaps.
I personally like it, And it’s only 8 episodes per season so easy to binge in a few days. first season was amazing, second not as good, 3&4th brilliant,
Watched The Assassin on Prime. 6 part thriller about a retired assassin who reunites with her estranged son. Stars Keeley Hawes and Georgie Highmore who was in The Good Doctor. Wasn't too bad and there's only 6 episodes
Pretty sure it’s been mentioned but I binged MobLand over the weekend. Tom Hardy at his menacing best and Helen Mirren certainly at her psychotic worst.
Wednesday first series edgy with dark humour Second series it's more like Sabrina the teenage Witch Quantum Leap new series. More plot holes than and octopus's underpants and tries to check all the woke boxes SAS celebrity edition, great watch, separated the fannies from those that can take a kick in the fanny. Fortune Hotel, more people who you can instantly despise from your armchair
Just finished Dexter Resurrection, brilliant. Dexter New Blood was pretty poor but this ties in with it all.and it's proper Dexter.
Haven't seen them all yet, think we're about three quarters through, but I've been impressed by it. Could easily have been a lazy money grab but it's very high quality, a lot more so than New Blood which is best forgotten.
Alien: Earth is very promising after the first episode, reminds me a lot of the original film without trying to copy it.
