Just watched the second episode. No Sunderland lad. One from Staffordshire and one from Derbyshire. Don’t think the Derbyshire lad is going to make it based on what they’ve shown so far.

Is Derbyshire lad the hostage negotiator?
It must be the 3rd programme EJK. He doesn't have a strong Sunderland accent but when he gets posted, he is posted along with another lad from Durham (who has been in WA for a while) and he calls him a Mackem.

Derbyshire lad is the hostage negotiator. I’ll be honest and I’m not saying this as a seasoned police veteran but first impressions are that he wasn’t instilling me with confidence. Even Mrs K said the same.

I was the same EJK, I don't want to spoil it for you but if anyone was going to dip out it was him :emoticon-0105-wink:

The scene where he was on the range and flinching when a gun was fired was very telling. He also came across as very idealistic wanting to work in remote aboriginal communities, but clearly without any idea of the dynamics of said communities. Still at least he had enough about him to give it a go and come out here. It’s not for everyone. Lad on my intake lasted six weeks and went back.

Just jacked in watching Reacher, has to be the worst script and most wooden actors I’ve seen, absolute garbage.

If you want wooden actors, watch Worzel Gummidge :1980_boogie_down:

Just binge watched the whole series today. Have to agree, it was really good. Set up a second series by the looks of it

I think it left it either way. Wouldn't be dissapointed that it left it wide open on a cliffhanger if it finished there but also left it open for a second series.

I liked series one but it's been pretty rough since then. Shame because the casting was great and it has the budget to do it justice but as you say the writing and acting aren't good enough.

Finished Cobra Kai tonight. One of the best feelgood series I’ve seen in a while. Parts of it took me right back to the 1980s when I didn’t have to worry about anything other than where I was drinking on any given night.

Not sure the wife is going to be able to handle the last of us, season 2 episode 2. She doesn't know about the game or it's storyline

Been told to give Yellowstone 3 episodes to give it a chance then Ill be "hooked". I'm on episode 6, bored as f**k messing about on my phone while its on in the background. Getting the Breaking bad hype if I'm honest. Do I stick or twist?
