Sex Education anyone? I thought I'd hate it because of the unrealistic Americanised depiction of school but after a couple of episodes I warmed up to it and now I love it.

Great show, watching the last series now.

Just binge watched the Long Shadow over the weekend, telling the Yorkshire Ripper story. Excellent.
Got into Bancroft, woman detective thing, very enjoyable few episodes to go.

Watched all 4 episodes of Boiling Point on iPlayer over the weekend. It's the follow up to the short film with Stephen Graham. Highly recommended and hope it comes back for a 2nd series

Anyone watching the Steve Coogan Savile documentary?

I know he wants to be taken seriously as an actor, but he just sounds like Steve Coogan.

Also, in doing the talking head thing then going to the past, they've inadvertently created Savile: Now, Then....

I've watched the first minute or so and I thought the same about how he sounds like himself!

I've figured out why I just don't buy Coogan as Savile.

It's the look in the eyes. Savile always had a look that said 'I know what I am, you know what I am, but I'll keep doing it and I'll keep getting away with it'. That kind of smirking evil arrogance.

I don't blame him for not being able to recreate that mind. Places you don't want to go to as an actor and all that.

I'm not sure anyone could do it.

Just finished the second season of Wheel of time and whilst it is a little bit complicated on some of the storylines I did find it enjoyable and a pretty good watch (It's no game of thrones mind)

Tried to get into the Fall of the house of Usher, I've liked everything Mike Flanagan has done before especially Midnight Mass, but unfortunately it's crap.

Just a **** version of Succession without any humour or good writing. Shame because Poe isn't exactly a weak source to work from.

Seen the trailer for something called "Bodies" on Netflix the other day. 8 parter set over 4 times lines, 1890s 1950s,2023 and 2050s about the same body turning each era. Follows the story of a detective on each occasion trying to solve the case. Stephen Graham is in it so it's an absolute no brainer.

I’ve watched the first five. First two were decent, third and fourth not so good. Watched the fifth and going to skip to the eighth and last episode. Not very good at all, and I’m a big fan of Steven Graham.

Just started Love & Death with Jesse "Meth Damon" Plemons & Elizabeth Olsen. It's a bit odd, but pretty good so far......

Quite enjoying Uncanny. It's like they're trying to figure out how to transplant as much of the podcast as possible directly into the TV show.

For those of you with kids just in their early twenties - or if you're in your early twenties yourself.....

Hot Potato - The Story Of The Wiggles is on Prime.

I can remember sending off to Australia for a wiggling guitar and accordion in the early 00s....
