Yeah I'll recommend BB to anyone who hasn't seen it but as much as I think it's great I don't do the same with Saul. Different kettle of fish isn't it.
One for @monty987, watching the end of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly set in the graveyard with The Ecstasy of Gold playing. One of the best scenes in the history of cinema for me.
Anyone else like the Danny McBride/Jody Hill comedies? Eastbound and Down, Vice Principals, Righteous Gemstones...I love that stuff.
Rehashing an old thread, but couldn't see it anywhere else.......... Is anyone watching Better Call Saul? How good was last night's episode!

He probably left at the right time. It went from being a very, very good series to a more run of the mill espionage/Government anti-terror drama.
Haven't seen the new episode since the break but I'm a big fan of the show. It's been great throughout but I feel they've raised the bar even higher for this series it's been brilliant.
Does anyone else struggle to go back after having breaks between a series. There are a few on Netflix I have stuck on and turned off as I feel like I can't remember what went on. I like watching them all in a row.
Agreed. At first I wasn't sure the idea would float (a show all about Saul) but it's been brilliant. I love how the main story threads (Jimmy turning into Saul/Gus battling with the cartel/Mike finding his way) have intertwined. I'd day it's up there with Breaking Bad
The new episode of BCS is fantastic. The show has been absolutely watertight in terms of plot threads for five seasons now, and it's a pretty complicated plot. They've done a brilliant job in making it all hang together and make sense. Nothing left hanging, nothing forgotten about or overlooked, everything that happens across all the seasons means something to the overarching story. Another thing I noticed the other day is that the creator of BCS and Breaking Bad worked on The X Files.
I'd say so too, BB will always be top dog for me but I'd score both shows the same. Chances are if Saul had been the original and BB the spin off then Saul would be my favourite. The cinematography this series has been unreal.
