Rarely listen to any of them anyway. I tune out when they're on and wake up again when actual football is being shown. Thought everyone did that? As for listening to commentary, I only pay attention to that when I'm watching on the radio.

Is it being so angry that keeps you alive Godders?

I think it is diet. I have just read an article in today's Times describing the foods that will help you live a long time and I eat all but three of them so I am very sorry to say I may be around for a little longer yet.

Well it might pay to stop eating them by (say) Wednesday cos it'll be three different ones by next weekend.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Savage. Why he's a pundit is beyond me. It's not like he was even a top player, just a journeyman who hung around the bottom of the PL and top of The Championship.

Need Glenn Hoddle on that list! He is awful.

Said today that Mane has shown he can cope with the discipline required at a top club like Liverpool when you compete in multiple competitions during midweek. Yet Saints are in Europe this year and Liverpool aren't...

That requires a <doh> for Hoddle, which means NOTHING when it comes to 90+ minutes out on the pitch, and then the next match. He is such a twat.

I almost admire Crooks' ability to be irritating. It's like he's attempting to invoke, his idea of some sort of 'broadsheet' nuanced analyisis, and speaks like every other word is italisaed.

Fair play to Sky, they've got 2 of the best in Neville and Carra. On ITV I don't mind Dixon, and Wright can be watchable as he's quite funny (sometimes).

Hansen and Lawro a few years ago were a good double act, but then Hanson left and Lawro started spouting the same drivel every week.

Worst has to be Savage. Also Jenas and P. Neville deserve mentioning for being a poundland version of Carra and G. Neville.

Owen is just comedy.

Savage n Crooks, but a tricky choice because there aren't many pundits I want to listen to at all so it was just a case of choosing which ****ers topped the list of ****ers that Godders provided. To be fair to G Neville, I don't mind him as a pundit and I can listen to Danny Murphy without wanting to kill him but the rest of that list totally suck - either lack of knowledge, lack of communication skills or in Merson's case, just lack.
I chose Savage and Crooks (like a dodgy firm of solicitors) just because Merson has to live with being himself every day so probably already hates himself and doesn't need me to do it for him.

Please inform us of these foods or start a special thread called Healthy Food and Eatiing. Or could you copy and paste the article as I am certainly not going to pay a for a Rupert Murdoch publication any time soon.

Back to the topic. I never see any of these, but as you are asking me to choose, I nominate G Neville and Merson as the worst pundits.

But the best pundit is definitely Jimmy Armfield. The rest can only aspire to be as professional, competent, and informed as him.

You have all missed the worst culprit of bias and bollox out there - Danny Mills. The number of times I've been shouting at the radio when he's opened his mouth about our club or any one of our players is unreal. Savage may be an obnoxious twat who loves an argument, but everyone (including him) knows that's what he is, and that a lot of the time he says crazy stuff on purpose. But Mills thinks he speaks universal wisdom when actually he's just a biased knob.

Keown?

For commentators: Motson is about 20 years past his use-by date but still gets plenty of gigs on BBC. Townsend is a prick who says the same things every match, without fail.
