I'm a bit of a saddo when it comes to TV. I am not a fan of drama, soaps and general made-up stuff. Programs like Lost do my head in.

I like my documentaries and real-life shows (I'm not talking about that stupid program about Essex and the stupid people that are on it. I genuinely feel depressed that people like this are todays role models).

I also love my comedy. An Idiot Abroad, Darkplace, Shooting Stars, Angry Boys, Look Around You, anything with Peter Serafinowicsz.

Possibly my favourite ever TV program, one that has really stood the test of time, You've Been Framed. I don't think I could ever get bored watching someone fall over, or a cat fall off a box.

One of the most disappointing comedy programmes ever was (for those of you who remember it) The Mary Whitehouse Experience. It starred Steve Punt, Hugh Dennis, Rob Newman & David Baddiel but it didn't transfer from radio at all as it was part sketches and part MTW/HIGNFY comedy but as the TV show had to all be recorded at the same time, they couldn't have the satirical take on the news content in it which at times was used a link between sketches on the radio.

Watched a programme about Bletchley Park and its codebreakers last night, it was excellent, and tonight is The Blues Brothers.

Thoroughly recommend watching the Beeb's Frozen Planet, especially in HD. When they do it well, they really do it well!

Agree totally BB. I have Planet Earth on DVD, which I have seen a number of times, and contemplating buying it on Blue-Ray

Just finished the first series of Entourage... not sure what to think of it, it was good in places, but will get the 2nd series.
