Blown my top <laugh> you don't know me very well. I am sitting laughing at you like I always do. I am a cheerful character my friend.

Off for a few beers for the match now take it easy <cheers>

THAT'S WHY THEY CALL HIM THE BOOKIES BEST MATE <laugh> backing Lavelle horses

take a chill pill rv, shouldnt drink when you are so angry m8

i remember that time I put up a 50/1 winner, do you?

Hey Dex, you are a keen golfer arent you. Bit of bragging here. I played the first three holes on Saturday BIRDIE, PAR, EAGLE and was still two under after seven! Admittedly the wheels fell off soon after but it was the first time I have ever been at 3 under par on a golf course and probably the last!

Thats pretty impressive Stick.

You were 8 shots better than the World No 1 after seven holes and you finished your round!

Haha, I hadnt thought of it in those terms........I am sure Rory would have found the course I was on a good deal easier.
Playing the Brabazon a week Saturday, I will let you know how I get on. I think beating 90 would be an achievement!

:emoticon-0100-smile No, Tegernsee Spezial maybe. Well, it's true isn't it? Cue Card is a talented horse, but he, and connections it must be said, just do not seem to fit the bill for the Irish. His jumping can be patchy, fair enough, and in this respect Cheltenham is damn difficult for him, but with a bit of give in the ground he ain't a bad horse at all. As for Sizing, fine racehorse and very unlucky last year. Erm, what is his best distance, Sizing's I mean?

I don't want to go back down the old road as i actually really get on well with you on the forum these days (I even say nice things about him from Seven barrows <whistle)). However, I think you're being a little bit unfair here - a lot of people knock Cue card - not just the irish. And i also think that sometimes when some Irish people talk about their own nation's horses they talk them up and tend to be a bit dismissive of the opposition from here - more bravado than anything i suspect. And i know a few English who do the exact same (not you by the way!).

I reckon Sizing would be best over 2 and a half miles these days. I love him to bits - his jumping is pretty much faultless. If he goes the ryan air route I'll be backing him out of habbit as much as anything but i would be worried about Cue card without a doubt.

United tactics spot on so far.

Keep RM at bay and they will eventually concede a breakaway goal as they push for the goal they need.

Wise move BB <ok>

LONG RUN 10-1 with Will Hill tmz

Is this for real RV? (and how do you know!!!)

They aren't NRNB yet, and although there is only one race that LR is going to be contesting, a lot can happen in a week, and it'd be good to know you can get your dosh back if he suffers a mishap!

its a 3 horse race

Sir, Bob, Silvi

take your pick

only chance Long Run would have if it came up bottomless ground, thats not going to happen.

Its hard to be overly confident about one of the 3, they all have excellent credentials, im leaning towards Sir Des Champs at the prices as 3/1 Bobs Worth is too short, and Silvi shoud be about 13/2. I dont like the fact that Bobs Worth hasnt run since the Hennessey, Sir Des Champs has had a lovely preparation, I think he has an extra gear that we have not been able to see on the heavy ground in Ireland. Of the 3, his price is closest to what it should be.

Outside of them, the one I think is capable of running a race, and who ive had a feeling about for a while now, is Captain Chris, im on at 25s.

My worry about Siliviniaco Conti is lack of course form - crucial at the festival and he is up against 2 dual festival winners in Bobs Worth and SDC plus a former GC winner in Long Run. I don't think you can dismiss Long Run so readily Boris, he's been there and done it and the King George victory will have done him good. Kauto knocked the stuffing out of him last season <ok>

So a four horse race then??!!!

Agree with boris it's down to them 3.

Disagree with boris, long run won't win even if it comes up heavy.

Chin up fergie, couldn't happen to a more honourable bloke
