Game, set & match now - they deserved it. Maybe Sunderland had an each way bet on Blackburn?

And bragging rights in Nottingham definitely go to Forest.

He might have done if they got a result tonight but now he might want a win to get some confidence back after their appalling effort tonight.

We could be facing a situation where next year the only players from our Championship winning squad are playing in the Premiership are Bradley Orr, Kaspars Gorkks and Mikele Leigertwood. Oh dear.

They haven't rested many tonight, some injuries and a couple of suspensions (against us as well). Problem is they are tired and lacking the necessary energy, lucky for B'burn.

That will be disproved Saturday when they play us ... Oh dear you think teams have nothing to play for ? Dear lord you are naive ... Sunderland will want to win every game as will any other team in this league

Really looking that way, so 3 out of 4 for the drop now - hopefully Wolves, Wigan & Bolton - playing catch up with missed game(s) - hopefully they will play Saturday and Blackburn will finish them off. Well played Bradley Orr too.

They just showed highlights of David Bentley scoring a hat-trick for Blackburn in the 4-3 win against Man Utd. on his home debut. Shot of Sparky - looking slightly happier than currently.

Hopefully Sunderland will carry this type of form on to our Saturday encounter, where they have an extra day of rest (and training?) over us.

Well thank you Sunderland you useless bunch of tossers! No doubt they'll come back to haunt us on Saturday, I'm beginning to think our season is completely jinxed...<grr>

Too much pessimism on this thread for my liking. We can beat Liverpool and Sunderland, and any other team you throw at us. Get on board for the ride lad's. Rangers will come good. Believe. I honestly think we will stay-up.
