Morning all, is anyone there? I’ll leave the sensible bumper form selections to those better qualified but there is one that catches my eye in the lucky last at Uttoxeter this evening. The horse’s sire is Magneticjim and the dam is Fannyjul. What appeals to me is that connections appear to share my juvenile sense of humour. The horse is named Fan Magnet. I suspect the authorities who sit in judgment on what names are allowed rejected their first proposal. 9/1
I also have one from my tracker. Treasure Storm, Lingfield 3.55. My previous note says lto ran 5 wide all the way around Wolves and still played a part in the finish. TS has since switched trainers and is going up 2 furlongs on his debut for this yard. That would normally put me off but he must have travelled a furlong further than the others lto. 8/1. Good luck all.

If I was offered the choice of the horses in the bumper, I would take Jour D'Orage home. However I wouldn't say today is necessarily the day. Interesting little race.
