Early alert. Squire and Buzz entered at the same meeting

I’m pleased to see old boy Buzz heading to Brighton on Wednesday rather than 24 hours later. He was the one that I most feared, from the original entries, re Pick A Little in the ‘lucky last’ on Thurdsay.

TONY SOPRANO 11/1 Nottingham 5:35
Had the three quiet qualifying runs and now the shrewd Martyn Meade cuts off his knackers, ups him in trip and hands the saddle to Atzeni.
Expect to see a different beast tomorrow folks!

Did he used to be called Tony Bass?

Get the **** outta here .......... as the man himself would have said. Became my favourite fictional character ahead of Walter White and Al Swearangen

Same applies to Alan King's Just in Time 8/1 Leicester 4.00. Knackers off during the winter and up in trip on handicap debut. 2 singles and a ew double.

What?!? No mention of Brian from ‘The Archers’ or a ‘Corrie’ cast member!?! Only one word to describe these omissions and that’s…shocking!

I think you should get special kudos, Chan, for putting up a horse in the colours of the forum’s second favourite owner, Mr Ponsonby. First rate.

Someone though, troops, lost quite a bit on Just In Time and this is not the way to do it. Bought as a foal for 38,000 guineas and then they sold him year later for 15,000 guineas. Ouch, I say, ouch. And all before the old boy had even run!

Win, lose or draw today though I’m sure we will see Just In Time competing in juvenile hurdles later in the year.

7.00 Cork- PAVLENKO -16/1

Well it won't be the first time and certainly not the last time Wayne has ridden and won on the outsider of the Ballydoyle lot! He finally won 10days ago in style in which the second has won since! He stinks of a typical AOP horse who improves with everyone run and could be on abit of a good one with this one!!

Cork
6.30 Little Clarinet 6/1
7.00 Brendan Bracken 100/30
7.30 Wild Irish Roe 13/2

That was a shade dissapointing. Having been backed in to 5's I was expecting a win. Never nearer fourth having gone the long way round the whole way!

Keeps Boris quiet though simple pleasures at this time in life! <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

In the next at Chelmsford I'm drawn to MIA TRESORO. Trainer had a winner earlier and this one won fto last season. EW bet around the 25/1 mark.

In the 8.20 it has to be ESTRELLA ERIA whom is unbeaten here in 4 attempts and who has had a short break.
