In the last at Lingfield I'll take a chance on Inspireus. Trainer does well at this track and had some placed runners recently. With Connor Brace up and liking for soft ground could take this

Came there with a promising looking run at one stage but seemed to weaken quickly. Maybe he still has problems but on this evidence today's trip was too far. As ever, when you go against an alarming drifter in the betting they hose up. Earth Moor will probably start short next time and have the bounce question posed as the doubt. At least I managed to call the poor value favourite and old cuddy Speredek as a short enough price.

Bit disappointed with the run from Prudhomme given the way he seemed to be travelling coming into the closing stages but perhaps the jockey was kidding himself about what he had under him.

The danger for Coolagh Magic could be Universal Effect given his overall profile on the all weather.

A good run by Seven Clans but undone by the ever reliable Cold Harbour. Coolagh Magic was terrible, back in trip and back down the handicap before he goes close again.
