Hattrick for William Buick. Ignore him at your peril when he rides at venues like this. A winner too for Duran Fentiman who has been riding so well lately for trainer Tim Easterby. Duran has been a loyal No.2 jockey (to David Allan) for a long time with the Easterby yard, and is quite possibly a very underrated jockey?
Maybe, or the jockey doesn't know how to handle him to get the best out of him. At the moment I would not be keen to back the horse with that jockey on board, regardless of his strike rate on other horses. So far, his strike rate on this horse is 0 from 3 and that, combined with watching that race, is enough to sew doubt in my mind. Could be wrong of course but whilst the doubt is there, "money" stays in my pocket
Evening all. Just venturing over from the football side of the forum to say hello... Love racing and watch both racing channels but usually only the evening meets due to work etc. Go racing as well (when possible) and my usual tracks are York & Donny though have been to plenty more around the north and have even made it to Ascot on occasion.
Hi Jammy. Welcome to the forum. Adding to Karlos's welcome we also run competitions which you are very welcome to join and even have a Virtual Betting Shop where you can open a virtual account and place your virtual bets. Balance statements and list of transactions on demand. Transaction analysis available on request. For details see The Virtual Betting Shop here
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome...much appreciated. Can happily watch top quality racing without having a bet but give me an all weather evening card at Chelmsford, Dundalk or wherever and I'm all over it like a rash. To me it's an evenings entertainment with a beer in hand and the thrill of a few bets...what's not to like ? Seems to be some good posters on here who appear to know their stuff. Look forward to reading and learning from you all
