REPRESENTED 4/1 Fontwell 8:50
Proper bumper pedigree on this one and from a yard that excels in this sphere. They also have a very good ratio in bumpers at the track.
I actually highlighted this one to the Don when I saw his breeze up as a horse we should have a leg in so let's see if I am right. Last time I looked the yard still had three shares left in him, they will be gone this time tomorrow!

STAR OF DOHA - Chepstow 4:00 - 14/1

Will put this one up early as price sure to drop by the off tomorrow. Going likely to be touching heavy and this ones pedigree screams middle distances with cut in the ground. Yard in decent enough form, and although it's the kind of race I'd usually avoid as too many well bred types making their handicap debuts, just think this one is overpriced currently so worth a little play.

Non Runner mate <ok>

Stick, I see your old chum claimed Jack Nevison (Jack’s sire is unsurprisingly Dick Turpin) out of a seller yesterday. Will you be getting involved?!?

The 4YO maiden was perched, prior to yesterday’s heat, on 70 and I must say this looks a half decent acquisition. His dam was a dual winner and Group placed whilst 2 of Jack’s 3 older siblings are already winners.

One to watch as I wouldn’t be surprised if Jack Nevison goes onto rob those bookie chappies. BOOM BOOM!

Alert. Forum being watched more than Pricewise
Nice one Ron - we have had a few good ones recently !! Notwithstanding old good fortune I'm looking for future funds - after being washed out at cartmel I'm off to Bangor this Thursday and then the Roodee on Saturday - needless to say I'm expecting the usual welter of tips and good advice - so let's be having it chaps and chappesses ... many thanks in advance

Chicken Stew and Dumplings. 9/10.

Ekbalco, Bangor-on-Dee on Thursday?!? Not without exercising your prerogative first, I hope. There is one, I note incidentally, entered on that card who Stick tipped me yonks and yonks ago. May make his NH debut. I'll allow the old boy the honour of telling you all about him.

SBC - be assured my vote will be cast very early on in order to make the early pub breakfast before the crew bud takes us on to Bangor ... all in all an exciting day looms especially as I plan to watch the election unfold during the early hours through drunken eyes !! I await Sticks intercedencecwith bared - yes bated breath !!

The aforementioned racecourse always brings to mind the wistful words of Mr Tebbs, when he decided to retire in Are You Being Served:

"Are You Being Served?: Shedding the Load (#6.4)" (1978)
[Mr. Tebbs decides to resign]

"It has been a long, glittering career. From now on it could be nothing more than an anticlimax. I realise I must step aside, make room for a younger man to climb to the dizzy heights which I've occupied for so long. How stupid of me to try to look younger. It was only because I'd hoped to save up to take Mrs. Tebbs for a last holiday to her birthplace in Wales. For old times' sake. [Wistfully] To Bangor. "

Nice one Harbottle but on a ooint of geographical correctness - did he go to Bangor or Bangor ON DEE ? Apologies for being a pedant ....

I always used to love it when Derek ‘Thommo’ Thompson was on TalkSPORT and there was a Bangor fixture later in the day. He’d always spend at least half the bulletin telling the story of when he went to the wrong one!
