Good Luck <ok>

Commanche is out to win the race for the stable that was successful last year, Ginzan may be the problem -single and reverse forecast at Brighton

2 days to go, just 2 days; I can hardly concentrate on work, and after that Bank Holiday with unruly kids and in-laws, I'm so looking forward to it.

So, looking to top up the Chester fund today and tomorrow after 3 days without the chance of a bet. I can imagine I've missed a few good chances, but best not to look back. ( I can't help but lament missing out on Englishman at Newmarket tho, great performance )
Let's see what I can do. Best keep an eye on the forum as we go today, as most of my recent winners have come from here rather than my own suggestions !

One that immediately interests me is Hollow Bay, 3.00 at Fakenham.
I may also rely on the Norton-izer to boost my balance on Mariee, 3.20 at Brighton; you can guarantee I'll be looking out for his rides on Thursday.

Also, one of my faves of last summer, Jay Kay, makes a reappearance at Catterick today, 7.25, though that might just be a watching brief for now.

Good Luck all.

Forget the dreary racing today- lets discuss LEICESTER CITY.

5000/1 at the start of the season. Most of you on here enjoy a sporting punt but we could have analysed the league 1000 times between us and never even mentioned Leicester. It is beggars belief.

The never say die core of the squad- Vardy (at Fleetwood Town a couple of years back), Mahrez (unknown and on trial at St Mirren a couple of years back), Kante (intercepting passes in the French lower tiers).

Robert Huth- let go by Chelsea, possibly relegated with Middlesbrough (?), mid table with Stoke.

Wes Morgan- ex Forest, a Jamaica international and 'Championship level'. Danny Simpson and Danny Drinkwater- let go by Manchester Utd.

Claudio Ranieri- sacked by Chelsea because he couldn't deliver the league title.

It's never too late to change or chase a dream. A victory for life's triers.

Congratulations Leicester City.

To put this into perspective, these are a few things the bookies thought were more likely to happen than Leicester winning the league.

Aliens land on earth 2000/1
Elvis still alive 1000/1
Hitler still alive 2000/1
David Cameron to replace Tim Sherwood as Aston Villa manager: 2500/1
Sir Alex Ferguson to win Strictly Come Dancing: 1000/1
The Queen to win Strictly Come Dancing: 2500/1
Hugh Hefner to admit he's a virgin: 1000/1
Tyson Fury to announce he is an atheist: 750/1
Simon Cowell to be next Prime Minister: 500/1
Andy Murray to name his first born Novak: 500/1

Unreal achievement for Leicester. I've always been a believer any team can beat another on any given day, to do it over the season Is the key.

The awareness, attitude and application from all those involved within the club will have been spot on, they have their reward now and something they can cherish for life. Remarkable.

Kante was signed from Caen, Toppy. I was actually having a tour of the facilities there (Caen) when it was announced and also witnessed 2 players being signed for Caen whilst there (laying table tennis would you believe). Players have their own rooms at the headquarters where they sleep as they aren't allowed to go home during the week. Don't know if that's all season or just certain times.

It's just these odds that bother me a bit TC. 2000/1's a poor bet for Adolf to be alive as he was born 20th April 1889? Even e/w wouldn't interest me that much..................
