It didnt win but encke seems to be the one to take out of that race.....only fourth race, still more improvement to come by the looks of it and didnt seem to get beaten for stamina the way he fought back when it looked like noble mission would go clear.

Michelangelo seemed very one paced and girolamo was disappointing. Good decision not to bet today!

Great race for the Gordon Stakes.

Not sure we saw a Leger winner though.

    Agonising!

Thought Micky could have nicked an extra length but he almost rode it ideally.

Chachamaidee looks classy but I worry about Queally riding her from the back here.

Hoping she breaks well and settles.

i wouldn't give up on micky just yet he ran a little bit green at the start buick had to stoke him up for a good 150 yards and he looked as if he was feeling his legs in the closing stages maybe feeling the ground the disclaimer i add would be that we always look for things as to why the horse we fancy got beat but i still think he is gonna be a lovely 4 yr old very lightly raced still

He breaks poorly every time. Unless he gets over that he won't win at the top level. Buick's having to use up too much gas in the first 100yds to get the possy he needs to race in.

Chachamaidee is the most likely winner in my opinion but its a dreadful price so left it alone

Our old mate Garydoes may have put me on to a real good thing at the olympics. After the heats of the 200m butterfly the fastest qualifier Kathleen HERSEY was still 40-1 with Ladbrokes yet trading at 13-12 almost evens on Betfair. Myself and several of my mates are on each way so fair play to him if he has put us on a winner. Was just too good not to play! Semi final at 8.00pm this evening. Fingers crossed.

First at Galway lads. What do we think? I'm on Saint Gervais but worry about the Mullins horse Zuzka. Don't fancy the gambled on Mount Colah at all.
