Intriguing, i'm backing it anyway because it's Ivory's, but Billy Boots in the 3 20, interesting it was with Andrew Reid, yet it's joined Ivory but Andrew still owns it. Depends how it runs as its been off 7 months but if fresh could make a mockery of the 14/1 as was a very good horse for Channon. Lulu taking a good 5lbs off too and dropped a lot in grade
I say calm down you types. Some of this behaviour is outrageous. Hang your heads in shame. Cheat, chunt, chimp! I was so shocked when I read this that I had to go and lay down in the sick bay for half an hour. Those bookie chappies taking absolutely no chances with The Champ. Best current price just 8/11.
Must say the names of the 2 fillies running in those Southwell bumpers are appalling - Crinkley Bottom and Bury The Evidence. Whoever monikered them should hang their heads in shame in my opinion.
I'm very sweet on Capture the Drama's chances in 2.15 at DR.Expecting a big run and having a decent clip at 7/2
Uh oh think we got one here from the general forum acting the maggot.Good god Capture the Drama was pants there, drift before the race said it all.Lost a few quid there. Hopefully me old mate Oor Jock can do me a favour in the next at Wolvy
Champ does the business very costly - well done SBC !! We've had champ - chimp - cheat - only one left is chump but we could never level that soubriquet at the forums davourite trainer !! Btw SBC - a neighbor of mine is buying heavily and placing horses with Mr Henderson / half of the new Parkin and grech partnership . What do you make of their expensive livestock ??
They seem to have a very nice bunch of horses and Constantine Bay did it very nicely for them at the weekend in Grade 2 company. They’ve actually got a very high win/runs ratio at the moment and seem to be using Daryl Jacob quite a bit when he’s available (wasn’t on Saturday to ride their big winner). How they do long-term will, undoubtedly, depend on their level of investment (have in the past year purchased a few for six figures or just shy of that figure) and their interest levels (although as they’ve purchased many long-term chasing types early indications seem to be that they may be around for a while). Going very well right now for them though and their string couldn’t be in better hands. One who has disappointed thus far, for them, though is Balthazar King’s little brother – Minella Rebellion – given his breeding though perhaps its fences he needs rather than hurdles. I don’t know if the Jacob association will continue when the de Boinville boy returns, from injury, or if they will allow the stable to pick the jockey from that point on. Incidentally on that score the latter is by no means certain to get back on Altior – Noel Fehily and him seem to have struck up quite a partnership. Altior’s owners face quite a decision in the not too distant future.
Be a move in the right direction if DeBoinville misses out. He gets more beat than most jockeys around I know. Solid lad to have as a back up if you are stuck.
I wasn't referring to Cheltenham exactly and of course he should be winning plenty of races wherever he rides for magic hands with his ammo.
Work colleague (the dick) has just informed me that he helped himself to writing comments as i left it logged in, aplogies
Tell him it's "They're". I left my FB logged in recently (and didn't close the lid) while I went for dinner. When I got back it appeared I had posted one fairly long post of jibberish and was part way through another. My 3 little kittens (or at least one of them) had obviously been playing on the keyboard.
