One has caught my eye in the juvenile hurdle at Worcester this evening - Pongo Twistleton. Lovely name for a gelding and named after the Sports Master at big school attended by Sir Barney Chuckles (or so he tells me). Placed over 12 furlongs on the flat for Jonjo, should go close if trying (nudge nudge, money should tell us).

Ah yes, I remember old boy Pongo.

He seems to be somewhat akin to the forum’s 34th favourite horse, Whiffy Chatsby, in that he sounds like a terrible old rogue from a P.G. Wodehouse novel. You can just imagine Pongo Twistleton getting up to all sorts of dastardly antics…
