Good day out at Hamilton yesterday but a terrible day punting wise, didn't have a single winner all day. Already organised another day there for a few weeks time, glutton for punishment.
One of the few courses up there that I havn't been to Fabio... Must get there soon, looks a good course when you zoom in on google earth...
Its a nice course, always been well kept and well looked after. Yesterday was good because it wasn't too busy so could move around easily and get your bets on and get drinks with no real hassle. Of the ones up here that I've been to I'd recommend Hamilton and Kelso, good days out. Perth is on my list to go to, only one up here I've not been to.
Went to Perth last year on the final day of the season. Again, nice course, close to the action, and a real family feel to it. Still got Mussle and Hamilton to do off the list... Hoping to go to Mussle later on this year, but might change it to Hamilton if the dates fit...
I checked the Coakley stable form after the race and he hasn't had a winner since 21st May. Only 40% of his horses have run to form this past fortnight with several running way below form. I feel Sonnetina has run a good bit short of form there but don't have the rating yet. I guess it shows you should check BEFORE every race to see that the stable form is OK. The drift out to 9/4 looked ominous, I thought it would have been nearer Evens really.
