I'll be interested to see how JPs, Hendo trained BLOODY MARY goes at Taunton. Strung up a sequence of ones in France, JP supposedly forked out a small fortune for her and Bazzas over to ride. She's being talked up to be a threat to my lass Limini in the mares novice race at Cheltenham so she'd want to be putting that lot to the sword with minimum fuss tomorrow. She's priced 4/7 to do just that.

Captain Chris retired. What a dam fine horse he was, versatile too. Won an Arkle and had Long Run eyeballs out to wear him down close home in a sloggers King George.

Had a massive double on him and Quevega at Punchy the year he won the Arkle ......................... always seemed to jump right so was amazed he won an Arkle. Happy retirement fella

Hobbs broke the news to Matt Chapman on his Monday On The Line programme I believe. Very likeable horse and very quirky as Oddy pointed out his tendency to jump right constantly. Wish him a long, happy retirement.

Loughnane's yard are in cracking form at The Firm looks a fair price at Southwell tomorrow.

Hermitage Way... Well this wasn't the plan for him!!!

Cadaeux Pearl in the last too.

Hermitage Bay 3.30 big chance tomorrow bit short though...also like Gallic Warrior around 4s 3.15.. Has winning form Taunton.. also returning to a more suitable trip..well treated..im hoping hes given his head and ridden positively ..

Hey all. Here's my lucky 15 bet for the day:

Not sure why, but I seem to be getting more ambitious.

14:30 at Southwell - Great Expectations at 17.00
15:30 at Southwell - Flying Lesson at 11.00
15:45 at Taunton - War Singer at 6.50
16:30 at Southwell - Trust Me Boy at 6.00

£15 wins £11,324.00 which is obviously ridiculous, but I can at least double up if any 2 come home (and I still have that flicker of hope for the big win).

Here's the exact bet so you can follow along and try out the permutations:

Morning, you types. Hope everyone well.

The forum’s favourite beverage is, at the moment, something of a tie between a GnT, a strawberry daiquiri and a vodka martini (shaken not stirred). However, all that may change later on this afternoon as I’m sure on that ‘tipples’ list a BLOODY MARY will soon take high rank. This mare has won 6 on the bounce across The Channel and across the county line at Taunton later (2.45) makes her bow for Mr Henderson, the forum’s favourite trainer, after being purchased for oodles by that J.P. chap. Should oblige here before going on to contest Graded affairs. Incidentally, I’m in 2 minds, at the moment, as to whether or not Bloody Mary is a lovely name for a mare. Something for the forum faithful to ponder there, me thinks.

Anyway, good luck all.

Like the infamous streak down his local high street after his prediction on the Fly winning the 2013 Champion...<laugh>

I say that’s a bit harsh, old boy. My actual prediction 6 months before the 2013 Champion Hurdle was that I’d run starkers down my local High Street if either Hurricane Fly or Rock on Ruby won it. And let’s not forget I was half right as Rock on Ruby didn’t oblige!

Yes, up in trip and a penalty for the last time out win at the same track, but if you get a chance watch the replay on attheraces of his last on this track, the horse was well clear after 3F out and eased down towards the line, so I'm very hopeful it will go in again.

Comical Red, 2.15@Taunton, nice e/w bet, since the horse has done well over C&D and likes heavy.

I said last week that Mr Henderson seems keen to get Call The Cops qualified for the ‘Pertemps Final’ once again. He didn’t take up his qualification entry 4 days ago but has another one on Sunday up at Musselburgh. Currently, on 153 surely the ideal ‘prep’ would be for Call the Cops to finish 5th or 6th and be dropped a few pounds in the process. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more...

Morning all - jaunty inflight turns out again after being pulled up on Sat - shorter trip and bottom weight 3 15 t - 12/1

My arrows for today:

Southwell
200 Arsenale 33/1 230 Elusivity 16/1 400 Response 33/1 e/w singles doubles and a treble

Taunton
215 Run Bob run 20/1 315 Gallic Warrior 11/4 345 Lochnagar 8/1 win singles doubles and a treble

Nice drift in price for you too. Questions to be asked of the jockey on the favourite who left it so late to get going though.

It was almost a replay!
Tip Top Tipping and as Harbottle said nice drift for me. I think I will stick with these opening races and just watch the rest :emoticon-0100-smile
