Maybe. I'd rather see him jump a fence though so from my perspective it's a good thing Ricci owns them both.
Did anyone see the bird (feathered kind) turn around and race Douvan in the last 20 yards? It literally swooped down as if bobbing its head! If you have an account with corals see it on the race replay at the bottom of the page http://sports.coral.co.uk/horse-racing/today/punchestown/4:20-punchestown-2735706.html
Your probably correct Bob, he does look like he is built for fences, and judging by how fluent and effortless his hurdling is you have to imagine he'll take to them very well. I just love to see big clashes between top class horses, and we're unlikely to see much of a challenge to Faugheen next year, nor will Douvan get much of a challenge in the Arkle. Sizing John will probably be his main opposition once again.
Nice forecast landed, will prob only pay evens though-1/6 & 9/2.fingers crossed don poli will oblige for tge treble
I think Champagne Fever is the one to be with in the Champion Chase. I know he ran poorly at Aintree, but back in Ireland in what looks a fairly weak race, I think he can bounce back. I had a few quid on at 4/1 this morning
Money been about all day for Flemenstar...wouldn't that be something! Just took 9/2 price boost with Champagne Fever.
Champagne Fever- needs testing ground or a testing track. Make that a fact! An Equiano half-brother to one of my old favs Dever Dream is out next at Newcastle @9/1. Did anyone notice the winner at Windsor yesterday, Richard Of Yorke? Won on debut for Cumani and its dam was a full sister to the late St Nicholas Abbey. He came home in true St Nic style- a late rattle and an interesting head carriage!
Always a strange pedigree when you have a middle distance influence dam and Oasis Dream as the sire. That's the only thing that would concern me but he might be alright in a strongly run mile as he progresses, as well as some 10f races. Nice win from Dever Dreams half brother then at Newcastle
Windy as fook at punchy.im on the elliot horse here, mullins was pretty bullish on rte there regarding st stephens green which has made me a lil nervous
How easy was that. Knew he was well regarded and he did that lovely considering he probably needs further.
Get in ye beauty, 4/5, wish it was like this every day!Just need the don to oblige in the nxt for the treble.im gona top up my bet on the sandra hughes horse ind last, heard its working well at home
